Khorsabad, Part 1: Excavations in the Palace and at a City Gate

Sargon II’s throneroom, six palace temples, the temple of Nabu, and the residences of the grand vizier and other high officials are identified. A group of Assyrian sculptures has been rescued from destruction, among them a number of imposing bulls.
