Abstract: Hieratic inscriptions in a Theban quarry north of the road to the Valley of the Kings were first noticed by Petrie. It has subsequently been shown that stone from this quarry was used for the construction of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. This article presents drawings and photographs of graffiti noted during recent examination of the site
